Glenavon

An outrageous dwelling south of Carlisle with nearly every wish list of structural features. Following a value engineering process, a steel frame and mixture of masonry lower construction and timber frame upper construction was eventually adopted to deliver the scheme within a 10 month construction programme. With cantilever staircase, glazed corners, and large window panels, on the exposed site, careful modelling was undertaken to ensure the structural arrangements accommodate the needs to create a wonderful unique property.
